北京丽泽国际学校一直致力于给学生对接优秀高校资源，本着这一原则，2022 年 12月22 日， 学校荣幸邀请到了英国著名学府——华威大学的招生官来为学生们做线上宣讲。
Beijing Lize International Academy has always been committed to connecting excellent university resources to students. In line with this principle, on December 22, 2022, we were honored to invite the admissions officers of Warwick University, a famous British institution, to give an online presentation to students.
华威大学（University of Warwick）英国十大著名学府之一，是罗素大学集团成员。位于英国英格兰中部考文垂，交通便捷，教学和生活设施一应俱全。学校创立于 1965 年，在全球已建立起卓越的学术名望，拥有享誉全球的雇主声誉和毕业生的高就业率，吸引着全世界的杰出才俊来此深造。
The Warwick University is one of the top ten famous universities in the UK and a member of Russell University Group. Located in Coventry, central England, with convenient transportation, teaching and living facilities. Founded in 1965, the university has established an outstanding academic reputation in the world, has a world-renowned employer reputation and a high employment rate of graduates, attracting outstanding talents from all over the world to study here.

The Warwick University is one of the top ten famous universities in the UK and a member of Russell University Group. 招生官马老师首先介绍了华威大学卓越的学术成就：英国卫报大学排名第9、泰晤士报排名第6、综合排名常年位于英国前10，2023年QS世界大学排名第64位，其中数学、经济等学科更是在全球名列前茅。
Ms. Ma, the admissions officer, first introduced the outstanding academic achievements of Warwick University: the Guardian University Guide ranked No. 9, the Times Higher Education World University ranked No. 6, and the QS World University ranked No. 64 and consistently ranked top 10 of the United Kingdom in 2023. Mathematics, economics and other disciplines were also the best in the world.
Ms. Ma, the admissions officer, first introduced the outstanding academic achievements of Warwick University: the Guardian University Guide ranked No. 9, the Times Higher Education World University ranked No. 6, and the QS World University ranked No. 64 and consistently ranked top 10 of the United Kingdom in 2023. 校园及其周边环境也堪称完美。例如华威大学校园内有一家学生和教职员工专用的电影院，这是在世界绝大部分大学都不曾拥有的。学校的治安更是无可挑剔，在罗素大学集团学校中犯罪率第2低，安全非常有保障。
The campus and its surroundings are also perfect. For example, there is a cinema dedicated to students and faculty on the campus of Warwick University, which most universities in the world do not have. The security of the school is impeccable. Among Russell University Group schools, the crime rate is the second lowest, and the security is very guaranteed.
同时，华威大学的课外生活也十分丰富。不但拥有设备齐全的体育馆和健身房，甚至连攀岩设备也一应俱全，充分覆盖了各种运动群体。除了各种常见的兴趣社团以外，华威大学也拥有自己的电竞社团，其实力更是全英国顶级。
At the same time, the extracurricular life of Warwick University is also very rich. It not only has a fully equipped gymnasium and gym, but also has rock climbing equipment, fully covering various sports groups. In addition to various common interest clubs, Warwick University also has its own e-sports club, which is the top in the UK.
最后，马老师给了同学们关于如何申请华威大学的一些建议：学校很看重学生的自我陈述，不但要表明自己的学业成绩优秀，更要展现出自己对申请学科的兴趣，同时阐述自己为什么适合学习这门学科，几封由熟悉的老师写的有针对性的推荐信也是很好的补充，这些都是华威大学的敲门砖。
Finally, Ms. Ma gave the students some suggestions on how to apply for Warwick University: the school attaches great importance to the students' self-expression, not only to show their excellent academic performance, but also to show their interest in the subject to be applied for, and at the same time to explain why they are suitable for learning the subject. Several targeted letters of recommendation written by familiar teachers are also good supplements, which are the stepping stones of Warwick University.

活动结束后，学生成长中心的赵明老师和同学们一起对刚刚康复的马老师表达了衷心的感谢。高一剑桥班的应同学表示，整场讲座的最大的亮点就是对她的大学申请指明了清晰的方向，让她更加清楚如何去努力，尤其是对于申请文书的写作重点有了更准确的把握，总体上受益良多。丽泽国际学校还会继续对接更多优秀学校，帮助学生找到自己在世界的位置！
After the activity, Ms. Zhao Ming, Head of COG Office, and the students expressed their heartfelt thanks to Ms. Ma who had just recovered. Ying, a senior one student in Cambridge class, said that the highlight of the whole lecture was that she pointed out a clear direction for her college application, which made her more aware of how to work hard. In particular, she had a more accurate grasp of the writing focus of the application document which benefited a lot.
